I paid near $100.00 which was a great sale price..(retail $150 ) but in honor of spring cleaning out my room.. 1/2 of that would be nice. $50.00 They are new & unworn. well my room is done pretty much.. will put the finishing touches on it when I get home. The clutter is gone, and most everything has a place. What doesnt have a place, is finding a new home this weekend. Those items include a box of books and video tapes, a stack of white uniforms, a mac computer & monitor and a nintendo with 75 games. Also thinking about ditching my collection of about 150 CDs. I cant even remember the last time I opened and played a CD. I download song from the net on limewire, burn them to CD for the truck, or put them on my iPod for me. so missy, if you are reading this.. my room is DONE, hope yours is too. Then we hit break even... otherwise.. I have plans for the $100.00 (fill the tanks on the truck) have I ever mentioned what a gas hog it is. Dual tanks, nice for long trips, a bitch to fill up on the wallet.

Funny.. what drove me to clean the room last night, those of you that have been here..know that I have enough stuff for 3 rooms in my one room. every bit of spare space or surface had something using that space. Anyways, I thought for sure the 100.00 bet I made with a good friend to have it clean by the first would be enough motivator, Im so cheap. And it might have been, when I freaked on Friday or Sat at the thought of forking over 100.00 But what made it happen, was that when I went to take the trash out. My SISTER was getting out of a car in the driveway. My sister from Texas, with who I dont get along with at all.

High stress situations, always put me into an OCD like cleaning frenzy. My room was done in short order, about 3 hours, and I was literally dripping sweat. Even recleaned things that didnt need cleaning, like the bathroom, which Im so anal about that you could eat off the floor in there.

My sister looked VERY different. Had her youngest child with her. ( 3 kids two dad ) and my nieces baby. She looked like she outweighed me by quite a bit, and we know I aint thin and she's about 3 inches shorter. And she's very apple shaped to my pear shape. She was in her usual sweatsuit uniform. Hairpressed/relaxed and slicked back, eyebrows tweezed into thin lines, and gym shoes(I barely own one pair.) LONGGG fake nails in hooker red..Yep we are VERY different. We fake hugged hello..and said the obligatory " How are you? " to which we both replied " good, and you?" and that has been the extent of our interaction. Not sure what she's here for, but she's never been one to do much of anything, especially if it costs money ( like flying here ) unless it benefitted her in a big way. I mean she got a house outa dad last year, and an insane amount of money at xmas.. it's gonna be hard to top that..but she brought a baby and a toddler.. so anything is possible.

well, time for school...and tonight in geology.. I get to find out how I did on tuesdays midterm.. ( sigh ) I get the feeling that it's not as well as the last A, I think I missed about 10 or so.. and I can only miss 6 and get an A, so we shall see. Ill be bummed. But a very high B would be ok, cuz with my high A from the last test, I wouldstill average out with an A.

Now to start packing, I leave on Wed night/thursday AM. I bought a new duffle (again) as the airline ripped a wheel off my other one when I went to Dallas for SPLF.

Last night I had a bag of chain... I had ordered a lot in several sizes, Had abunch of chain collar orders to fill. However, I couldn't find the damn tape measure to measure and cut the chain. I have to cut it exact, as the price of sterling is up (again) and I only order exactly what I need. I ended up putting off packing those orders till morning.. till I could hunt down a tape measure.

Well during the night, the tape measure mysterious appeared and the bag of chain DISAPPEARED. I have been hunting for it off and on all day. And I have not one but two projects to do tonight that needs about 4/5 hours of my time. and then I need to squeeze in about 2 hours of studying sometime before 6pm tomorrow for my geology exam. That teachers exams are insane.. and I need to score very HIGH, as much as I make waves in her class, I am sure I can't expect her to be cutting me any slack if Im on the cusp of a grade. I scored in the top 2 on the first exam, if I can score that high again, I think I can most likely Get an "A" for the class inspite of her insane rules, high volume of assignements and piles of busy work she gives out.

Well Im off to search for the chain again.. christ, I swear my bed eats things.

Got my Michigan Womens Music Festival worker confirmation. I have been picked up for the same crew I worked last year.. so I will be off to spend 14 days in the woods with 5000 women, listening to amazing womens music, socializing, camping.. ( yea Im learning to like it.. ) and reconnecting.

I'm taking geology, it's a mandatory class for graduation.. well a science. My choices were astronomy and geology. Since I already have an extensive rock collection, I chose geology. Little did I know the rock and minerals portion would only be a chapter long. And that I would have to know way too much about volcanoes, sedimentary rock, tectonic plates, and how the hell old everything on earth is.

So tomorrow I'll be on a bus bright and early at 7 30 am on my way out past hollister to climb around on old rocks and check out caves. Guess what.. all the way to fresno used to be covered by the ocean, and you can dig fossils in all of the sedimentary rock between here and there.

So tonight I need to pick out comfy clothes that allow for lots and lots of walking. Decide on either my boots or gym shoes, pack a lunch, pack books to study on the bus ride there..

Today is the first day of Kink fest Portland Oregon.. I had wanted to go.. but just cant miss that many days of school. So anyone going.. please let me know how it was...

12 more days will I hop a plane to the east coast. Whoo Hoo.. Emailed a good friend from festival who lives there.. will be nice to connect and have some company while there.

Gotta love priceline. The event hotel was 169.00 plus tax so like 192.00 per night. I booked my room using priceline at the Marriott. They even have a shuttle (Event hotel doesnt, so also saved 25.00 each way on that) And Priceline booked me the room at 55.00 (17.00 tax) The regular price on the room (Had to call to see, 161.09 with tax)

Whoo hoo... save 106.09 PER night.

Priceline just gets better and better. On my trip to Boston, rented a car AND upgraded to a full size for 15.00 a day. No hidden costs or extra charges. I think a car will be standard add on for event trips from now on. The Marriot has free parking, but wont bother with a car cuz they have an airport shuttle, boston event hotel didnt have one, and the super shuttle was 65.00 EACH way. 15.00 car was a bargain.

Now if I can just keep all my flights with Continental, I will rack up frequent flyer miles more effectively.

I am off to the Big Apple, my first trip to NY..

Ive started cleaning out my closet, trying to get a handle on the clutter. Found a HUGE pile of paperback books that I obviously thought were worth saving. All paperback, mostly lesbian Erotica, but several Faye Kellerman, Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koontz, Michael Palmer, John Saul... to name a few.

I will be in San Jose tomorrow evening and can drop off to anyone in that area.. otherwise you need to arrange pick up, or I can pack them in a box and send, you pay the postage. Otherwise on wednesday, they are being dropped off at GoodWill.

ahh.. well sold the caddie today. It was time.. I haven't driven it since I got the truck no once. The tags had expired and it was just taking up space. I ran to the bank with the check.. as I never think its a good idea to take checks anyways from folks you dont know that well etc etc.. they called to verify.. told me it was standard procedure for checks over 1000.00 but I dont recall that ever having been done before when I have cashed a check.

Been thinking it would be nice to lay a paint job on the truck. Black or Midnight blue.. or something.. but you all know me.. it will go into supplies instead.

OooOooOO a new mattress.. been dying for a REALLY nice mattress. Mine is hard as fuck.. A new laptop.. nerd toy.. Ok I need to stop..LOL.. If the nerd in me wins.. Ill have more computer stuff.. tho a laptop for travel is good.. I mean my other two are OLD now..

These were military cook uniforms. White pants and white shirts. 2 of the pants are 38/34 ( waist/length ) and the other is a 36/34 and the shirts are all XLG short sleeve button down.
